How we started

Developed over four years, the Core Business Platform ecosystem originated from a large freight brokerage's need to streamline their operations. Today, this integration platform can serve a wide range of industries, providing solutions for business process automation, data and analytics, migration of legacy systems, user interfaces, among many other solutions

PROBLEM

An enterprise has purchased a subscription to a new CRM platform and they need to move all their existing customer data from their accounting and operations systems to the new CRM. These records will have to be kept in sync so if a new user is created in the operational software, user data will be inserted in the accounting and CRM systems. Same for the case when user data is updated.

SOLUTION

An enterprise uses multiple systems to operate their invoice auditing process. This process involves data that lives in three different software systems. Operational software contains some of the customer data like credit limit. Accounting software contains invoices aging, and the CRM software contains contact data. Users auditing the invoices need to jump between systems to complete their auditing process.

SPREADSHEETS | DATA WAREHOUSE | BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

PROBLEM

An enterprise relies on spreadsheets to calculate performance metrics and KPIs. Enterprise users must download spreadsheets from various sources to calculate these metrics and KPIs. The process is time consuming and error prone. Metrics and KPIs take too long to calculate.

SOLUTION

The Core Business team can implement a data warehouse and an ingestion process that can pull data via API, DB or upload spreadsheets from file storage. Data ingestion would be scheduled and monitored. Data would be aggregated and displayed in a BI tool of choice or embedded in an operational console or third-party web app like Salesforce, WordPress, custom website, etc.
